South African actor, Sthembiso “SK” Khoza, is currently trending for behaving violently towards a white man. However, according to Khoza, the man called him the “K-word” first.
The former The Queen and Zabalaza actor was filmed at Zebula lodge in Mpumalanga over the weekend. And as the video clip shows, he is seen yelling at the man, asking if he knows who he is while circling him.
The video, however, does not show the white man speaking. But according to Khoza, there’s much more to the story.
Trouble always seems to find Mr Khoza
On Monday, the actor told his side of the story to Sunday World, claiming that he was insulted first.
“I was away with friends in Mpumalanga and the white man you see in the video was racist towards me, so I retaliated. He called me by the ‘K-word’,” said Khoza.
He also added how tired he is of getting negative attention for stories that are not even necessarily true.
“It is funny how I always trend for the wrong reasons and never for the good that I do, and the great work that I produce. I am tired of all these stories that are made up about me. I was not on drugs, and I have never been.”
And even though Khoza is defending himself, we can’t help but notice that, whether he means to or not, he is always involved with bad publicity.
In June 2021 he was accused of hitting a cashier with a scanner in Johannesburg. And in October he was arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident with his partner.
And in 2020 – during the hard lockdown – the actor got in trouble after videos of him and his friends dancing with “half-naked girls” went viral.
All of these incidents eventually led to him being cut from Connie Ferguson‘s show, The Queen, in November.
