Possibility of extraterrestrial life on Earth
In a stunning turn of events, Mexican politicians were recently presented with a pair of mummified corpses that a UFO expert claims are “non-human” aliens. The event took place during a public congressional hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) and has sparked widespread speculation about the possibility of extraterrestrial life on Earth. However, it’s important to approach this claim with a critical and sceptical mindset, as the evidence presented is far from conclusive.
The two mummified bodies, each possessing three fingers on each hand and elongated heads reminiscent of popular depictions of extraterrestrial beings, were displayed in windowed boxes for all to see. According to ufologist Jaime Maussan, who presented the specimens at the hearing, these corpses are between 700 and 1,800 years old. X-rays revealed that one of the bodies contained mysterious “eggs” inside.
Maussan went on to claim that DNA testing on the small figures had been conducted, and the results indicated that “These specimens are not part of our terrestrial evolution.” He emphasised that these beings were not found after a UFO wreckage but were discovered in diatom (algae) mines and later fossilised. He concluded, “This is the first time extraterrestrial life is presented in such a form, and I think there is a clear demonstration that we are dealing with non-human specimens that are not related to any other species in our world.”
The alleged ancient specimens were said to have been retrieved from Cusco, Peru, in 2017. Maussan further claimed that scientists at the Autonomous National University of Mexico had been able to extract DNA evidence from the specimens using radiocarbon dating.
While this story has captured the imagination of many and generated headlines around the world, it is crucial to scrutinise the claims made during the congressional hearing. The scientific community operates on the principles of evidence, peer review, and rigorous testing. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and so far, the evidence presented is far from meeting those criteria.
There are several reasons to be sceptical of these claims. First, the source of the information is a UFO expert rather than a recognized authority in fields such as archaeology, anthropology, or biology. The lack of independent verification from experts in relevant fields is a significant concern.
Second, the description of the mummified corpses having three fingers and elongated heads is consistent with many hoaxes and fakes that have been perpetuated in the past. Without a comprehensive and transparent examination by experts, it’s challenging to determine their authenticity.
Not part of our terrestrial evolution
Third, the claim that the DNA evidence supports the assertion that these beings are “not part of our terrestrial evolution” raises more questions than answers. DNA analysis is a complex process, and conclusive results require a rigorous and well-documented methodology. Without access to this methodology and peer-reviewed research, it’s impossible to accept these claims at face value.
Finally, the political context of the congressional hearing adds an element of scepticism. The hearing aimed to rule on the phenomenon in the Aerial Space Protection Law, which would turn Mexico into the first country in the world to acknowledge the presence of aliens on the planet. This political dimension raises concerns about the motives behind presenting such evidence.
In conclusion, while the presentation of mummified corpses purported to be “non-human” aliens has garnered widespread attention, it is essential to exercise caution and critical thinking when evaluating such claims. Without independent verification by experts in relevant fields and transparent scientific analysis, these assertions remain speculative at best. The search for extraterrestrial life is a legitimate scientific endeavour, but it must be conducted with the utmost rigour and adherence to established scientific principles. Until more concrete evidence is presented and scrutinised, the mystery of these alleged “alien” corpses remains unresolved.
