President Ramaphosa blames NATO for Russia/Ukraine war
According to President Cyril Ramaphosa, NATO is to blame for the war between Russia and Ukraine. He further said that he would “resist calls to condemn Russia after comments arose regarding whether Ukraine or “the West” would be accepting of him as a mediator for the conflict.
“The war could have been avoided if NATO had heeded the warnings from amongst its own leaders and officials over the years that its eastward expansion would lead to greater, not less, instability in the region,” Ramaphosa said.
This view is also maintained by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

And earlier in March, Eskom was forced to stop replacing a steam generator at a Koeberg unit due to its “lack of preparation“. This replacement was part of an R20 billion project that is meant to extend the plant’s working life by another 20 years.

There were blackouts all over central Tokyo and fire engines on the streets with sirens on straight after the initial shock. And about 100 000 people in north-east Japan were still without power on Thursday morning.
