The new music video/short film was written and directed by Taylor Swift and fans cannot wait. On Friday, the star took to social media to tease the release of the video.
Star-studded cast
So not only will fans be blessed with a 10-minute version of “All Too Well” but now, after the teaser clip, fans have learned that a short film can be expected as well.
It has been announced that the talented Dylan O’Brien (Mazerunners) and Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) are set to feature in the short film. And fans are eager to see how one of Taylor’s most heartbreaking songs will be portrayed on screen.
The song has the singer reminiscing after a relationship has ended and now she is left with only her memories. It is rumoured that the song is about her relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. And currently, Sadie Sink is 19-years-old and Dylan O’Brien is 30, which is similar to the ages the singer and Gyllenhaal were when they were dating.
Taylor teases the release
The Grammy-winner captioned the 30-second clip, “November 12. Remember it.” The clip doesn’t give a lot away and only includes a car driving down a road surrounded by autumn-hued trees.
The singer/songwriter is currently busy re-recording her second Taylor’s Version album – Red (Taylor’s Version). The first rerecorded album was Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and was released in April 2021.
