Aaron Carter died at his home in California this past Saturday. He was only 34 years old.
No cause of death revealed yet
Presently, no cause of death has been revealed. Relatives of the star have since shared a tribute to the late rapper and singer who also went by the name of Kid Carter.
His brother, Nick Carter wrote, “My heart has been broken today. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never faded.”
Thus far, Aaron Carter kicked his career off as a child star when he toured with his brother and the Backstreet Boys. At the time, young Carter opened up for the boy band and has since then kicked off his own career.
As a teen, he started his solo career and released his first album which sold millions of records. Among other things, Aaron Carter also landed a role as an actor in the show called All That.
Aaron Carter had a troubled past
To date, Aaron Carter has also been linked to Hilary Duff as the pair dated as teenagers. In a tribute to her ex-lover, Hilary Duff shared, “Boy did my teenage self love you deeply.”
The death of the Hollywood star was met with much sadness as the singer and rapper had struggled with drug addiction for as long as ten years. Aaron Carter has also been in rehab at least five times to date.
As early as September, Kid Carter was reportedly checked into rehab as well. At the time, family members were concerned that the former actor had relapsed which can happen very often.
In 2019, the relationship between Nick Carter was very strained as the Backstreet Boys singer filed a restraining order against him. Right now, speculation of suicide has been ruled out as his team shared the rapper was planning on recording new music this week. His last album Love was released back in 2018.
