On New Year’s Day, a Range Rover was entertaining beachgoers in Richards Bay when it didn’t go quite as planned.
In the first video that went viral, the driver can be seen driving his silver Range Rover through the shallow parts of the shoreline, spraying the excited crowd on either side of the car. Two passengers were also enjoying themselves as their heads stuck out the sunroof, waving their hands and enjoying the party.
However, the car ended up deeper than planned and couldn’t get out on its own. And so a tow truck was called and the Range Rover had to be towed out of the ocean.
And as a group of concerned people surround the submerged car, it is presumed that one of them is the owner of the car waiting for the tow truck to assist the situation. One of the party-goers who were in the Range Rover can also be seen making his way back to shore.
And onshore, it is clear that the party took a bit of a downer as they assessed the situation.
“As they say, it will end in tears, dreams come true and earliest than expected sometimes… Pay sir just pay… It suits you well,” a Facebook user commented on the video.
