Ben Feigin dies from Pancreatic cancer
Right now, NBC reports that Ben Feigin lost his life after a battle with pancreatic cancer. It is unclear how long the producer had endured this struggle.
To date, Ben Feigin graduated from the University of California before going on to work for Warner Bros. The Schitt’s Creek producer would then go on to win a long string of awards for his work.
In 2020, Schitt’s Creek won an award for Best Comedy Series and Ben Feigin would go on to win another award for the same category in 2021.
However, the biggest win for the producer is when the entire cast of Schitt’s Creek won awards for the different categories and sweep the awards for different categories in 2020. The series made history on that night.
While Ben Feigin was a producer at heart, he also worked on multiple other projects during his lifetime. These works take the likes of an exhibit for the Grammy Museum about the Chicano Art Movement and taught a few classes at the University of California and many others.
To date, Ben also contributed to non-profit work such as StandUp2Cancer, and the Tony Hawk Foundation. Donations can currently be made on behalf of Feigin to the StandUp2Cancer organization. The organization currently helps families get free care and resources for cancer.
Right now, the Los Angeles Times reports that a memorial service for the late producer will be held at 12:30 pm at Mount Sinai Cemetary in the Hollywood Hills.
Ben is currently survived by his wife Heidi Feigin and Ellie Feigin.
