Jacob Zuma is reportedly back in the hospital for “regular check-ups”
According to reports, family members of former president Jacob Zuma confined that he left Nkandla on Monday for a check-up. It is further reported that he might stay at the Johannesburg hospital for the rest of the week.
However, a spokesperson for Zuma’s foundation refused to confirm whether or not Zuma was hospitalised.
Len Cloete in coma after being shot in the head by policeman
This past weekend, Cloete and his wife were booked in at Misty Hills Lodge in Muldersdrift. It is believed that the couple got into an argument with the lodge’s staff and the police were contacted.
This encounter did not end well for Cloete, as he took his firearm out of his bedside table. During the heated argument, Cloete started getting physical with a policewoman and a shot was fired at him.

South Africa can expect short notice load shedding
Due to five different power units failing during the course of Tuesday, Eskom has requested that members of the public reduce the use of electricity as much as possible for the time being.
According to their released statement, load shedding will have to be implemented if any generation capacity is further lost. It is not confined at what stage load shedding we will be introduced, however, it is confirmed that it will be “short notice”.
