For the first time, the power utility openly confirmed its “belief that anti-establishment moles in their workforce, or external figures, tried to destabilise Lethabo’s 3 558-megawatt feed to the power system”.

Three dead and one injured during an accident at Bainskloof Pass
On Saturday evening, a woman (60) with three children in the car forcefully went through a closed boom which resulted in the car plunging 80m down the mountain.
All three children sadly died and the woman was injured but survived the crash. Bainskloof Pass, between Wellington and Ceres in the Western Cape, is currently closed to traffic due to roadworks, however, there is limited access allowed.
The driver refused to stop at one of the stop-and-go sections and drove through the boom.
A South African tour guide in Jerusalem was killed by a Hamas gunman
Eliyahu Kay (26) was a tour guide in Jerusalem and was shot during an attack by the Palestinian Islamist movement Hama. Kay was in Jerusalem’s Old City on his way to pray at the time of the attack.
According to the SA Jewish Board of Deputies, three more people were wounded in the attack.
