Woolworths is stepping up its game this festive season in its partnership with Pargo.
While many retailers have opted to add delivery as part of their service, Woolworths is allowing their customers to choose from a variety of options.
Woolworths and Pargo partner
Recently, the retailer announced its partnership with Pargo for its click-and-collect option. Woolworths has already given their customers an option to schedule delivery for a specific time.
The large group has also made it possible for its customers to get their orders on the same day. These orders can range from beauty products to groceries, and clothing. Woolies customers will now have more options when doing online shopping.
Now, Woolworths has also extended its delivery services to other areas such as:
- Langebaan
- Simon’s Town
- Mossel Bay
- George
- Plettenberg Bay
- Knysna
- Margate
- Jeffrey’s Bay
- Richards Bay
Of their partnership, Woolworths shared, “Parcel pick-up will bolster our omnichannel value proposition and further provide our customers with convenient delivery options that suit their individual lifestyles. This partnership will now allow us to offer another reliable delivery option to our growing click-and-collect customer base,”
How it works
The partnership with Pargo means that Woolworths customers will now be able to collect their orders at a more convenient time for them and they can be collected at a store that is closer to home.
In their initiative to have Pargo points, Woolworths representative shared that they realize their customers aren’t always available to have their online order delivered to their door. So this option is for those who want to do online shopping and get it at a time they are able to collect it.
While this is convenient, customers will be given eight days to collect their order at a Pargo point of their choice. Woolworths customers will also be given a five-digit code which they must present in-store to retrieve their order. Customers should also bring along their id document or card for verification.
