The Springbok player Elton Jantjies will be back in court on 3 June after he appeared in the Kempton Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 16 May.
Jantjies was arrested on Sunday, 15 May after the crew members on the business class international flight complained about him.

As per The NPA’s Phindi Mjonondwane, the flyhalf is facing charges of malicious injury to property and the contravention of the Aviation Act.
“He is also alleged to have broken a tv screen and bulb when he was ordered to return to his seat after breaking a glass that cut his finger in the business class stretching area.”

Jantjies was reportedly released on R1 000 bail at the police station in Kempton Park.
