Syn City
The 20th of January brings the Seedify launch of Syn City, The Mafia Metaverse. Hustle thinks this will be the biggest IGO of 2022 which could do as well as Blocktopia. Seedify should be the biggest by far but the IGO will also be offered on 2 or 3 other launchpads. Big influencer attention on this which means many eyes and many hands participating. Hustle expects this to do a 200x or even a 300x.
Sandbox & Decentraland
With Facebook taking an supportive roll of Sandbox and the apparent competitiveness between Facebook and Decentraland we saw a greater section of the mainstream starting to warm up to the concept of the Metaverse. The charts show massive move after this narrative. The conference is buzzing with talk about the Metaverse and those in the know are telling us that this is the space to be involved in.
Microsoft buys Activision
Recently Microsoft has purchased Activision for a whopping $69B making them the 3rd biggest gaming company in the world . As the gamers among you may know, Activision is the company behind blockbuster games such as the Call Of Duty series, World of Warcraft, Tony Hawks and many more. This shows us just how heavily the big companies are starting to invest in gaming and the inevitable take over of Metaverse gaming.
We can expect to see the other mega companies to jump on the metaverse train soon, companies like Amazon and Apple and we all know how Apple perfects that which others make. It is a matter of time.
