While many await the summer season to take flight, South Africans will be experiencing uncomfortable warm weather from the 4th of October.
Thus far, The South African Weather Service has shared that Gauteng will be experiencing a heat wave. From the 3rd of October right into the 4th of October. Presently, surrounding areas such as the Free State, and KwaZulu-Natal will also be experiencing scorching weather during this Spring season.
Right now, the Nothern Cape, Limpopo, the North West, and Mpumalanga are currently the warmest regions in the country. With temperatures starting from 37 degrees and the highest being 40 degrees to date. Thus far, the Western Cape remains the coolest compared to the above regions. See the warning below.

This morning, The South African Weather Service issued a warning to share that Gauteng among other areas will be affected by a heatwave that is expected to last throughout Monday and Tuesday this week. To date, this will be one of the warmest days following the winter season this year.
As of late, the regions to experience the hottest weather include Gauteng, the North West, and Mpumalanga. In the meantime, extremely hot conditions have already taken their course over KwaZulu-Natal this Monday. As shared by the Weather Service, this is expected to continue throughout Tuesday as well.
Presently, Weathersa shares some of the popular cities, such as Bloemfontein, Upington, Durban, and Pretoria will be experiencing some warm days as well. However, the temperatures are expected to decrease from Wednesday onward.
