These photos will be exhibited from October onwards in the YellowKorner galleries and the Peugeot network.
EMOTION: The photographers will use the power of the image to place Allure at the very heart of life.
ALLURE: Peugeot wants to share its optimistic vision of the future by becoming an “Allure activist”.
EXCELLENCE: Peugeot is partnering with YellowKorner, the leading publisher of art photographs.
Peugeot is convinced that the world is better with Allure. This means that the future must be imagined with style, creativity and ambition, in a human-centred approach. Allure is the key to the Peugeot brand’s positioning, now and in the future. This concept of Allure is much more than the expression of outstanding design. It is also a state of mind, an attitude and a behaviour that goes far beyond mere appearance.
Empowered by this ambition, Peugeot wants to promote this optimistic vision and become a true “Allure activist”.
To further increase its support for and involvement in the visual arts, in the past few weeks Peugeot has launched a series of artistic collaborations with creators from the new generation, Emeric Tchatchoua founder of clothing brand 3.PARADIS and the visual artist J. Demsky. Following on from these collaborations, Peugeot has offered talented photographers the opportunity to reveal their vision of Allure.
To this end, Peugeot is partnering with YellowKorner, the leading publisher and distributor of art photographs through a network of 130 galleries in 20 countries and the yellowkorner.com online gallery.
Peugeot and YellowKorner have asked five renowned photographers to interpret Allure within their own creative universe by each creating a series of 15 images. Three of these images will feature a model from the Peugeot range chosen by the artist.
Five photographers, five quests of Allure
Teresa Freitas: “Finding Allure in colours” in Morocco
Laurent Baheux: “Allure of the lion” in Kenya
Mister Fifou: “The pride of Allure” in the suburbs of Paris
Laurence Laborie: “Feminine Allure” in Lanzarote
Oliviero Toscani: “The landscape of Allure” in Tuscany
From October 2023 onwards, the work of these photographers will be exhibited on the YellowKorner website, showcased in the YellowKorner galleries, and displayed in a private viewing in the presence of the artists in the main YellowKorner galleries in Europe. The photos will also be exhibited in the Peugeot network.
As with all works published by YellowKorner, the photos from the collaboration with Peugeot will be available for purchase by the public.
This project was set in motion on 20 April at the Venice International Photography Festival, of which YellowKorner is the partner. YellowKorner invited Peugeot to the opening ceremony of the festival, during which a film introducing the partnership and the vision of the five selected photographers was presented.
