Pretoria, 7 December 2022 – Jaguar Land Rover has launched a new Advisory Council, Further, that aims to push the boundaries of the possible and help shape its long-term vision of modern luxury.
Exploring political, cultural, technological, and societal trends, Further will provide provocative insights informing the future direction of modern luxury for Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery and Jaguar brands beyond 2040. It will also support the company’s journey towards Industry 5.0, the vision of industry that goes beyond efficiency and productivity as sole goals and reinforces the role and the contribution of industry to society.
Working with the Jaguar Land Rover Board of Directors, the Advisory Council is made up of a curated group of global futurists and experts from eight different non-automotive fields, including cyborg anthropology, sustainability, blockchain technology, cybersecurity, business investment, health and wellbeing, and the metaverse.
By exploring what the future could look like for Generation Alpha*, and beyond, Furtherwill contribute to Jaguar Land Rover’s outlook on long-term innovations, opportunities, and ideas important to future clients.

Director of Innovation at the UK’s leading fitness start-up Fiit, Adrienne Herbert is a leading wellness professional, international keynote speaker and author. Adrienne is best known for her weekly self-development podcast ‘Power Hour’ that has more than 3 million downloads and last year released her first book by the same title. Most recently she has been helping organisations to redesign their wellbeing strategies to navigate and support the change to hybrid and remote working.
Amber Case (Cyborg Anthropology & Calm Technology)
Named one of Inc. Magazine’s 30 under 30 and Fast Company’s Most Influential Women in Technology, Amber Case is a cyborg anthropologist, user experience designer, and public speaker. She studies the interaction between humans and technology and is an author of four books and former fellow at MIT’s Center for Civic Media and Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society.
Dr. Helen Papagiannis (Metaverse, Web 3.0, XR & AR)
Dr. Helen Papagiannis has been working with Augmented Reality (AR) for 17 years as a designer, researcher, keynote speaker, and consultant. She is the author of the bestselling book Augmented Human: How Technology Is Shaping the New Reality and is an invited member of The World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Augmented and Virtual Reality. Dr. Hoda Alkhzaimi (Cybersecurity)
