- Fiat electric New 500, Fiat 500 Hybrid and Fiat Panda Hybrid embody the ideal product family for urban sustainable mobility and represented the Brand in the competition.
Around 42,000 readers and expert car fans of the prestigious German magazine AUTO BILD have chosen FIAT as the number one winner of the smallest car category in the competition “The best brands in all classes 2022/2023”.
“This award is the most strategic one ever – commented Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO and Stellantis Global CMO, who continued – because it testifies, once again, that we are pursuing the Brand’s mission of providing urban mobility and make it accessible to everyone. Besides the sales results, what makes us extremely satisfied is the appreciation by people. The fact that readers of the prestigious AUTO BILD magazine recognize FIAT’s key role in providing urban mobility in a country like Germany confirms that if you think of urban mobility, hybrid or BEV, you think of FIAT! I want to personally thank all of them for this love declaration.”
Readers of the leading automobile magazine were asked for their opinions on 37 brands divided in 14 categories. Aspects such as innovations, quality, design and price were taken into account when casting their votes. In addition to the respective class winners, AUTO BILD also selected an overall winner in each segment. FIAT was awarded this prestigious title in the smallest car category, where the Brand was represented by the New 500, 500 Hybrid and Panda.
The bestsellers in the Italian brand’s model range are the Fiat 500s: the New 500 full electric and the 500 Hybrid. Both were the best-selling imported models in Germany across all segments in 2022: the New 500 was also ranked first among battery electric vehicles (BEV) in several months last year in the country. And in 2022, as a whole, the model ranked third in the segment of passenger cars with electric drive. The Fiat Panda complete the Brand offer in the small car segment and is also available in hybrid version.
