Daily Lotto

National Lottery Operator Ithuba introduced The Daily LOTTO on 10 March 2019. Players buy tickets  with their selected 5 numbers between 1 and 36 or 5 numbers from QuickPick selection method at a cost of R3 per board.

How does it work?

There are four prize pools for matching 2, 3, 4 or 5 numbers correctly and if nobody matches 5 balls in a draw, the jackpot rolls down to the matching 4 numbers. The draws take place every night and the Daily Lotto Results Numbers are announced after 9pm Central African Time (CAT).

When do Daily Lottery ticket sales close?

Tickets from an existing Lottery outlet close at 20:30 on the day of a draw so Buy your Daily Lotto tickets there or on www.nationallottery.co.za. The terms and conditions for other lotto services vary. In other words, please read them when you sign up for these services.

How to play the Daily Lotto and what does a ticket cost?

To play Daily Lotto, you must select five numbers from 1 to 36 and you can;
  • choose your own numbers or,
  • use the quick pick option, it is a random selection generated by the computer.

What days are the Daily Lotto played in South Africa?

The Daily Lotto draws takes place every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in South Africa. In other words, the Daily Lotto is played every day, 7 days a week in SA.
