Upon returning to the show, Katlego Maboe revealed that the set of the show had changed a lot since he last stepped foot in the studio. The presenter broke into tears while taking a seat.
“A lot has changed. I didn’t know how this would feel like”
In a one-to-one interview with Graeme Smith, Katlego Maboe opened up about his struggles with getting back up from a very public downfall.
“You can either sit and mourn for a very long time to the point where you don’t know how to even get up anymore or you make the decision that no matter what, today I had to get up”

While reflecting on the support of the public, Katlego Maboe expressed his gratitude for the messages of encouragement from the public.
“The warmth and the compassion have been inexplicable to me.”
To circle back to where he has been before, Katlego Maboe shared what he endured outside of the public eye. However, the presenter did not delve into anything specific.
“I will find a reason to get back up and put that one foot forward and hopefully you do that enough – one foot in front of the other every day. Until the reason you started it with has cemented itself somewhere in your being.”
