Imagine Dragons will be heading to South Africa for the very first time in February 2023. While the concert is set to take place next year, tickets will go on sale sometime in July.
Rock band comes to SA for the first time
Thus far, the multi-award-winning group has announced they will be coming to South Africa for the very first time with the concert set to kick off in Cape Town first at the DHL stadium.
As for Johannesburg, the concert will take place at the FNB stadium a few days after the Cape Town concert. To date, those with Discovery bank accounts will be able to access the concert tickets first on the 6th of July.
Right now, the tickets are expected to be available for purchase by the 8th of July on Ticketmaster. So far, Imagine Dragons are best known for their hits Enemy, Thunder, and Believer.
Imagine Dragons to perform their Mercury album
According to The Citizen, Imagine Dragons have landed the top place for their 2021 album Mercury. One of their songs made for the Netflix series Arcane called Enemy has also continued to move up on the US Billboard charts.
Right now, Imagine Dragons are among the many US artists who are making their visit to South Africa. So far, Justin Bieber is set to come to South Africa on his Justice tour taking place in September.
Previously, the singer was diagnosed with a disease that paralyzes his face. Since then, the Baby singer has taken a break from touring but will be getting back to work soon. His wife, on the other hand, has also had her fair share of health scares but is currently also doing well.
