This perfect frikkadel recipe will leave you with a simply mouthwatering batch of beef mince meatballs. And they are easy and quick to make!
The Secret to the Perfect Meatball
The very first thing that is important here is the chopping of your ingredients. Make sure everything is finely chopped otherwise your meatballs are bound to fall apart on you while cooking. I once tried to skimp on my chopping and ended up with a really delicious tasting mince.
Secondly, try using quality ingredients. You can use some pork in your mince as well, but try to stick to higher-grade meats. With regards to fat content, if you choose mince that is a little fattier, your frikkadels will be that much juicier in the end! The same goes for the parsley and tomatoes. Keep it to fresh ingredients and you will find the final product that much more aromatic and flavourful.
Lastly, for the perfect frikkadels, try not to over mix your mince. Overhandeling them tends to compact them too much and the end result may be a little harder to devour.
Ready in Just Over 30 minutes
My favourite thing about this recipe is that these perfect frikkadels can be ready in just over 30 minutes! So any day that you just don’t feel like being in the kitchen, you can quickly whip together your mince mix, fry them up, and before you know it you will be done. Yet in the end, the wondrous flavour that comes with these meatballs will make any diners think that you had been slaving away in the kitchen for hours!
Eat Them as You Please
The added bonus is that they are delicious on their own or simply with some freshly baked bread (if you haven’t tried it yet, our Herb and Cheese bread is a superb addition to this dish!). Otherwise pasta, rice, potatoes or anything else that you may be in the mood for will work beautifully!
