So you need to be able to get your chicken to soak in advance but when it comes to the actual cooking time you will only be occupied for a little over half an hour.

All you need to do is brown your onions and garlic in a frying pan before adding your marinated chicken. Chicken Marinated in Curried Buttermilk and Yogurt Sauce
Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken Breast Cubed
- 1 Onion
- 1 clove Garlic
- 350 ml Buttermilk
- 100 ml Yogurt
- 20 ml Curry powder
- 15 ml Fresh Coriander Leaves
- 1 Lime Juice of
- 10 ml Butter
- 2 ml Fresh Black Pepper
- Salt To taste
Instructions
- In a seal-able fridge container, mix the buttermilk, yogurt, curry powder, coriander leaves and lime juice. Add the cubed chicken. Make sure all the pieces are covered and put in the fridge for 3 hours.
- When you are ready, heat the butter in a saucepan.
- Fry the onions and garlic. Add the buttermilk chicken. Bring to a boil. Add the black pepper and salt.
- Turn the heat down and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
