Zanele Sifuba recently experienced a violation of her privacy.
Late Tuesday night, footage of the Freestate Legislature Speaker was shared by an alleged boyfriend of the ANC member.
The video was posted as a result of blackmail
It is of the understanding that Zanele Sifuba was blackmailed for R300 000. In order for the video to remain hush-hush. Evidently, this money was never given to the individual which prompted him to share the video online.
The current video which was shared on social media platforms reportedly pictures of the ANC member pleasuring herself with her lover on the other end doing the same. The act is said to have taken place over a video call.
On Tuesday evening, the video was a widespread discussion on Twitter in particular. Many social media users expressed their distaste for the content being shared with the public. Some theories have also made their way on the platform.
Thus far, the spokesperson for the ANC Women’s League Dina Pule expressed that this entire ordeal is distasteful and that no woman’s privacy should be violated in the way that Zanele Sifuba’s privacy has been violated.
Zanele Sifuba is yet to comment on the matter
Right now, no spokesperson for Zanele Sifuba has responded to comment on the matter. It is currently unclear whether the video is still making its rounds on the internet.
While the sex tape comes as a shock to many, this is not the first time an ANC member has gone viral for the sexual content or personal tapes to date.
To date, The Citizen reports that Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba also went viral for a video that showed him masturbating. The clip was allegedly meant for his wife which he never sent to.
The minister at the time claimed that his phone was hacked and this content was therefore shared without his permission. It is unclear whether this story is true or not.
