Trevor Noah cannot disclose any information about the big performers at the award show but rest assured, the 65th Grammy’s will be one to watch.
The 65th annual Grammy Awards
This year, things will shift in more than one way. As Trevor Noah will also take on the role of producing the Grammy’s this time around. The host who previously ended his late-night talk show is currently on his Off The Record world tour.
Previously, the Grammy’s needed to cut the number of guests at the venue. This comes as the coronavirus pandemic shifted the way the world did things. This, therefore, meant award shows could no longer be the same.
However, this year, Trevor Noah assured fans that the Grammys will be a star-studded event. He added all the nominees will be invited!
Executive producer Winston said, “Well, all the nominees are invited. Listen, we are not going to talk about specific talent on the call. I’m so sorry. I’d love to, but I think the relationships we have with talent is so delicate, of when everybody gets announced and who’s coming and whatever else that we just wouldn’t be able to say.”
The award show this year will see stars Harry Styles, Lizzo,
Bad Bunny, Luke Combs, and Mary J Blige are among some of the performances this year.
Trevor Noah on hosting
Now, we’re all wondering if Beyonce might be taking to the stage after her viral performance in Dubai, and since other performers were not announced yet, the singer might just pop up on stage.
Reflecting on what he likes most about hosting, Trevor Noah revealed he always finds an appreciation for the experience of seeing other performers interact.
He said,
“Moments that you have backstage with the performers — you’re just walking around and you’re seeing Billie Eilish and she’s having a moment with another artist — you don’t get to see that anywhere else, and you don’t get to experience that level of joy.”
