That 90s Show just released their first trailer and if it’s anything like its predecessor, viewers are in for a treat.
What will the show be about?
In 2020, Netflix broke the hearts of many That 70s Show fans when the streaming platform removed the series from its list. The sitcom had an eight-season successful run before it was canceled by the last season.
Now, Netflix has returned with a sequel, titled That 90s Show which will include most of the original cast members of That 70s Show. The set release date for That 90s Show currently stands on 19 January 2023.
In the sequel of the show, parents Eric and Donna have some issues with their daughter Leia. As a result, the couple then decides to send her to her grandparents for the summer.

From there onward, Leia goes on a self-discovery journey after revealing that she isn’t quite popular back home. Luckily for her, there are some teenagers who would soon turn her world around. As she builds relationships with a group, who just like her, doesn’t fit in with the rest.
That 90s Show will include previous cast members of the show’s predecessor. These include Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher Laura Prepon, Topher Grace, Debra Jo Rupp, and Kurtwood Smith.
Like the original series, Kitty Forman opens up her basement to the teenagers. Which will later give Red much of a headache. That 90s Show also takes on some inspiration from the original series, in that the teenagers find themselves getting high in the Forman’s basement.
Part of the synopsis reads, “It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is desperate for some adventure in her life or at least a best friend who isn’t her dad. When she arrives in Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red and Kitty, Leia finds what she’s looking for right next door when she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen.“
That 90s Show will officially premiere exclusively on Netflix by the 19th of January. Viewers can expect at least 10 episodes for the first season.
