Rihanna releases the main track for Wakanda Forever
One of the most notable things surrounding the film includes the passing of the late Chadwick Boseman. Who was known for his role as T’Chala and the Black Panther in the previous film installment.
Presently, it has become increasingly interesting to see how Black Panther 2 will incorporate the memory of Chadwick Boseman. Who was a tremendous loss to the franchise. Producers of the film actively worked on ways to honor his memory. And the recent track by Rihanna shows us just how much love went into producing the film.
Thus far, Lift Me Up is a song that deals with the connection between two people, particularly, that of love and what you would give and want from the person you love.
Currently, Rihanna pays homage to Chadwick Boseman who played a significant role in getting to where the Black Panther film is today. The emotional tribute is truly heartfelt.
Right now, the lyrics to the song such as “Keep me close, Safe and sound” is a clear indication of the departure of the late Chadwick Boseman whose loss is deeply felt among the cast of the film.
To date, it has been six years since Rihanna released new music, with her last album release taking place in 2016. The singer has since focused on other endeavors such as her lingerie line, her sports line, and her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line.
Since taking a hiatus from music, Rihanna has also become a mum to a little boy. The Work singer has not yet disclosed the name of her child and also hasn’t shared any pictures of her newborn.
