DJ Cleo is a well-renowned DJ in South Africa and unlike some of his fellow celebrities, the public figure is doing pretty well for himself.
DJ Cleo dishes out on his personal life
On a recent episode of podcast and chill, DJ Cleo dished all the details there are about his career. Which spans at least 23 years to date.
While Mac G asked the DJ some uncomfortable questions, DJ Cleo didn’t miss any spots. As he made sure to clear up some rumors while he was at it.
Previously, images of DJ Cleo with Bricks at a prison went viral on the internet, which prompted fans and others to think that the public figure had in fact gone to visit the fallen kwaito star in prison.
In clearing up this rumor, DJ Cleo stated that he was invited to play soccer at a prison back in 2019. He further noted that he wasn’t “part of the planning” of the event. After entering the field, the DJ shared that Bricks along with other prisoners were let out to watch the game.

While the group was outside, DJ Cleo then shared that this is when he spotted Bricks and that he went on to greet him. This is at the time that the photographer pictured them together at the prison. The former kwaito star is currently serving time in prison for the rape of a 17-year-old relative.
Now, this isn’t the only thing viewers were taken aback by in the interview. This comes as the DJ also revealed that he currently owns eight properties, which therefore makes the quite financially stable.
Unlike public figures such as Dr. Malinga and Zola 7 who have become pretty financially cripple over the years. Both have since relied on financial support from their fans or from their peers.
