Warrior Nun season two hadn’t gotten a month to get comfortable on Netflix and bad news has already come in.
Netflix cancels series after a two-season run
In November, Netflix officially released season two of Warrior Nun. The show garnered plenty of fans. Given the fact that it was a queer show. Which delved into relationships of same-sex couples.
Now that it has been canceled, fans of the Netflix show have brought the streaming platform under fire for canceling a queer show. Following this decision, speculations about being homophobic quickly came to the fore.
However, one reason why Warrior Nun has been canceled as a result of poor performance. To consider a series for renewal, Netflix checks the completion rate of the series. As well as the statistics of the series as a whole.
Unfortunately, season two of Warrior Nun has not performed as well as some fans would’ve hoped for season two. The series performed particularly worse than the first season.

One can possibly blame this on the fact that Netflix has not spent any money on promoting the second series of the film ahead of its release in November.
From November 10th, the viewership of Warrior Nun had steadily declined on Netflix. The series first started off with an average of 27 million views and began to decline with a final average of 11 million views by the end of November.
While producers of the show had hoped to see as many as seven seasons of Warrior Nun, Netflix just couldn’t guarantee a space for the series given its recent performance. Turns out, the cancelation has nothing to do with being homophobic and is purely a business decision.
Now, in light of the streaming platform’s decision to cancel the show, fans have now opted to trash the platform. Some have even canceled their subscription in opposition to their recent decision. To avoid future disappointments, fans should remember to complete the series and even rewatch shows in order to bring up the numbers.
