In a new Netflix film, the actress starrs as a woman who has everything she can have in the world. However, her world is rocked when she is in a terrible accident and has amnesia following the accident.
In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Lindsay Lohan shared just why she took the role in the first place.
“I just felt like it was time, and it was just a matter of time before I found the right script and I found it with ‘Falling for Christmas’. It just worked out perfectly.”
While explaining what the story is about, Lindsay Lohan stated, ‘So, it’s a girl who kind of is an heiress that has pretty much everything and something happens to her and she gets in a bad accident and she gets amnesia and remembers nothing,’
The actress also further acknowledged the message that the film brought across. Sharing that being grateful for what you have and how the story had impacted her.
‘I think it’s a beautiful story because it’s about how we always want more things in life, but the simple things really mean the most to us in the end. And I really connected with that,’

Thus far, Lindsay Lohan has previously fallen off the wagon after the actress had gone through a tumultuous string of personal problems. This includes her struggle with drug abuse.
However, the actress is currently happily married and if you must know, he is not an actor. Lindsay Lohan has also had a reality show on MTV where the actress hosts a string of parties. This has since been canceled.
The actress also opened up about married life with her current husband to Jimmy Fallon. She shared that she had found her ‘person’ and is happily married.
‘It’s great. It’s amazing I met my person. You never know if you’re going to find that in life and he’s an amazing guy, man. I love him and we’re a great team,’
To date, this marks Lohan’s first film in at least ten years after the actress’ role in the film Mean Girls.
