Kelly Khumalo focussed on enjoying her life despite the criticism she might face about the late Senzo Meyiwa.
Kelly Khumalo lifts the lid on her birthday celebration
In recent snaps to Instagram, Kelly Khumalo shared some details about her birthday celebration. Which was celebrated on the 11th of November this past Friday.
However, one thing the singer did not disclose was who she was celebrating this special day with. In her post, Kelly Khumalo noted that it was a “party for two”.
The singer previously threw a surprise birthday bash for her mother with many of her other family members present at the special event. But it seems the singer felt for a more intimate celebration with a special someone.
In the meantime, social media users have been debating whether Kelly Khumalo deserves an apology from them for blaming her for the death of Senzo Meyiwa.
Twitter debates on the singer’s innocence
Over the past few months, the public has been following the Senzo Meyiwa trial in which many suspects were tried. However, the information didn’t seem to favor the court and those affected by the tragic murder.
Previously, Advocate Teffo has been removed from the case and has simultaneously lost his license to practice as a lawyer. This was met with much frustration from the public as they felt Teffo was actually making valid points and was forced to make actual progress on the case.
Right now, Longwe Twala is believed to be the main suspect in the case following new evidence that suggests that he may have been the one to pull the trigger.
In light of this information, Twitter users felt that they do not need to apologize to the singer. Their motivation for this was if this information is in fact true, Kelly Khumalo would then have lied about what happened the night Senzo Meyiwa was murdered.
One user wrote, “Withholding information about a crime is a crime. Everyone who was in that house must rot in jail.”
