Jeremy Clarkson will be facing some action against him after the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host wrote a column expressing his hate for Meghan Markle.
The Sun column expresses the hate Jeremy Clarkson has toward Meghan Markle
The column that has since been removed from The Sun, saw Jeremy Clarkson speak of Meghan Markle in a loathing way. The tv host noted that he hated Meghan more than he hated Rose West.
If you didn’t know, Rose West is a convicted murderer. Who alongside her husband murdered a total of twelve young women over the age of 20 years.
One jarring part of his written piece includes the host wishing that Meghan Markle would parade naked in the streets of Britain. With the residents throwing excrement on her, whilst chanting ‘shame’. Jeremy Clarkson currently alleges that he took this out of a scene of Game of Thrones. After receiving criticism for this.
His piece read, “At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her.”
TV host shares a statement on his recent comments
He continued, “Everyone who’s my age thinks the same way. But what makes me despair is that younger people, especially girls, think she’s pretty cool. They think she was a prisoner of Buckingham Palace, forced to talk about nothing but embroidery and kittens.”
In light of his recent column, Jeremy Clarkson shared a statement and gave his thoughts on what he had written in The Sun column.
“Oh dear. I’ve rather put my foot in it. In a column I wrote about Meghan, I made a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones and this has gone down badly with a great many people. I’m horrified to have caused so much hurt and I shall be more careful in future.”
While the public figure noted that he had caused “hurt” amongst the public. Others found fault in the fact that he didn’t actually apologize. That is, for what he said about loathing Meghan Markle.
