Jay Leno recently found himself in a dangerous situation.
While fixing one of his cars, Jay Leno found himself between flames after fixing a clogged fuel line. The fire reportedly started as a result of a spark. The accident reportedly took place on the 14th of November.
Jay Leno gets third-degree burns
Right now, it is the understanding that Jay Leno has suffered third-degree burns on one side of his face. The former Tonight Show Host was immediately hospitalized following the traumatic incident and is currently doing well.
In the meantime, Jay Leno has released a statement regarding his well-being to the public. The comedian noted that he is doing well and will need some time off due to the incident.
“I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”
Presently, a source close to the comedian shared that he is currently receiving Hyperbaric treatment which is something the reality star needs to receive on a regular basis.
Comedian to take a break for two weeks
According to Today, Hyperbaric treatment allows an individual to be able to breathe better as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning or whether they have been in a fire accident.
Thus far, a spokesperson from West Hills Hospital has shared a statement regarding the comedian’s well-being following being hospitalized.
“He is in good humor and is touched by all the inquiries into his condition and well wishes. He wants to let everyone know he is doing well and is in ‘the best burn center in the United States.'”
While Jay Leno is hospitalized many of his shows have been canceled as a result of the incident. This will take effect for the next two weeks. In addition, the episodes of his tv series on cars Jay Leno’s Garage will not be impacted.
