According to US Magazine, Stephen Boss died on Tuesday the 13th of December. The actor was reportedly found dead in a hotel in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday, police authorities received a call of a shooting that took place at a hotel in Los Angeles. Upon their arrival, Stephen Boss was found dead with a shotgun wound. The wound was reportedly self-inflicted.
Earlier this week, his wife, dancing with the stars alum reported him missing to the police. She shared that her husband had left the house without his car and added that this was very unnatural for him.
The couple celebrated their nine years of marriage on the 10th of December and shared sweet messages about one another on their Instagram accounts.
Stephen Boss is best known for being the DJ on the Ellen DeGeneres show which ran for more than 20 seasons. The host decided to end the show earlier this year in order to focus on other endeavors.

Of his death, his wife Allison Holker wrote, “Stephen we love you and we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you”
He was featured in the show Celebrity Game Face with Kevin Hart. The actor appeared on the show with his wife as a judge in the dance-off segment of the show. The couple would then judge how accurate the dances are in order for the different teams to earn points.
The public figure more commonly known as Twitch also appeared in the film Step Up 3D as one of the dancers. He appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show for the entire run as a DJ and co-host.
Stephen Boss is survived by his wife and two children.
