Flabba tragically lost his life in a drunken incident between him and his girlfriend Sindisiwe Manqele. She was sentenced to twelve years in prison for the murder of the rapper in 2016.
Sindisiwe Manqele opens up about how Flabba died
In an interview with Mac G, Sindisiwe reflected on the night of the passing of Flabba. The then-girlfriend of the rapper shared that the pair had a night out after the rapper allegedly got jealous. The night out was cut short and they went home.
However, things took a turn for the worst after the pair had a disagreement about what transpired at the club. Sindisiwe Manqele then shared that Flabba tried to open the door to his home with a knife after she had locked him out of the house.
“That night, we were drunk and tempers were high, we had gone out and got intoxicated and there was a bit of jealousy from his side. It escalated and things were said and ended up taking the wrong turn,”
Released on parole
This past May, Sindisiwe Manqele was released on parole after serving six years in prison. In sharing how Flabba got stabbed, Sindisiwe claimed that the rapper was disposed of the knife which then led to her stabbing him in self-defense.
However, the self-defense claim was thrown out in court after the judge found that she murdered Flabba during their altercation.

During the trial, Sindisiwe kept her identity disclosed, revealing that she was protecting herself as the case was covered by the media on a large scale.
According to Independent Online, Manqele believes that Flabba has forgiven her for stabbing him and shared that the rapper was alive for around an hour before he passed on. She further added that the ambulance took a very long time to arrive.
“(I was) definitely (forgiven) by him because we spoke before he passed away. I knew that he knew that I didn’t mean to do it.
