Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s relationship took quite a turn (for the positive) when they welcomed their baby girl into the world in August 2020. However, a source close to the couple checked in and updated Entertainment Tonight on the happy couple.
Wedding plans are on hold for now
Katy and Orlando got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019 but sadly, all wedding planning is on hold for now due to the pandemic.
However, according to the source, the couple is as happy as ever. And they are even thinking about expanding their family.
“Katy and Orlando are so happy,” the source said. “They’re doing very well as a couple and have gotten into a great groove. They want to expand their family. They’re both super supportive of each other’s careers and love parenting together.”
Katy and Orlando focus on appreciating each other
In September 2021 at Variety‘s Power of Women event, Katy spoke fondly of Orlando as she thanked him for being such a great partner and father.
“To my beloved partner and constant iron sharpener, whether I like it or not, Orlando, a man that is a friend and an ally to all around the world, thank you for handling the insanity of my life with such loving grace,” she told him. “And biggest thank you of all for being an incredible father, an example to our greatest gift ever, our daughter, Daisy Dove.”
And Orlando also shared a sweet birthday post for Katy’s birthday in October as they celebrated her 37th birthday.
“We do life we do love and it’s fun,” he wrote to her. “I’ll celebrate you today and everyday. 🎂🥳✨I love you. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️”
