Randy Newman is an American singer-songwriter, arranger, composer, and pianist. His songs are instantly recognisable thanks to his Southern-accented singing style.
Newman was only 17 years old when he started his songwriting career, however since the 1980s he has mostly worked as a film composer. Some films that he has scored include Toy Story (all four films), A bug’s Life, Monsters, Inc., Cars, Meet the Parents, Seabiscuit, and Marriage Story.
From children’s movies to blockbuster hits, Newman has a song for every genre, age, and type.
You’ve Got a Friend in Me (1995) – Randy Newman

A Fool In Love (2000)
This song makes the opening scene in Meet the Parents (2000) with Ben Stiller, Robert de Niro and introduces the audience to Stiller’s love interest in the film played by Teri Polo.
If I Didn’t Have You (2001)
The Disney-Pixar film, Monsters, Inc. really made this Randy Newman song popular and it added the perfect emotion to the animated film.
