Betty White passed away 17 days before her 100th birthday
White passed away peacefully at her home on New Year’s Eve. And according to her death certificate, she suffered a stroke six days before her passing.
According to sources close to White, she was alert and coherent after the store and died peacefully in her sleep. Thus, her death was due to a “cerebrovascular accident“, which was caused by the stroke.
Immediately as the news of her passing broke, tributes began pouring in, honouring “America’s Golden Girl”.
White’s close friend and agent, Jeff Witjas, revealed that she was ready to be reunited with her late husband, Allen Ludden.
“Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever.”
“I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world that she loved so much. I don’t think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again.”
