Babes Wodumo is currently the widow of Mampintsha. The artist shared a few words with her mother-in-law following some tension that built up between the two.
Artist Babes Wodumo ends tension
The past few weeks have been draining for the mother of one. After her husband, Mampintsha suffered a stroke on December 17th. Following his hospitalization, Afrotainment released a statement sharing that the kwaito star is being monitored by doctors.
Sadly, Mampintsha passed away on December 24th, Christmas Eve. Since then, the family has been part of many speculations regarding the death of the late Mampintsha. All the rumors were later put to rest by a family representative.
At the funeral service on Friday, Babes Wodumo took to the stage to thank the friends and family of Mampintsha for their support during this difficult time.
The artist shared with her mother-in-law that whatever is going on between them will end today. Babes Wodumo proceeded to hug her mother-in-law after sharing that she doesn’t want any tension between them anymore.

During the funeral service, DJ Tira took to the stage to share a few words to Babes Wodumo. He expressed that he will be there and assist her son Sponge in any way that he can.
The DJ continued to encourage Babes Wodumo by sharing that she needs to return to her throne. Adding that she needs to start charging 100k for bookings.
He shared, “Our sister Babes Wodumo needs to get back to her throne. She needs to get back to charging 100k per gig. I will always assist Mampintsha’s son as needed.”
Before the passing of Mampintsha, Dj Tira and Big Nuz group member Danger collaborated on an album dedicated to R Mashesha. Mashesha died in 2015 after a long illness. the details about his illness were not shared with the public. In the same way, the particulars of Mampintsha’s death was not disclosed.
