Adele just continues to excel in her career as the singer’s return to music has earned her her first Emmy Award in her career.
‘Easy on me’ singer earns her first Emmy award
To date, Adele has already won an Oscar, a Grammy, and now an Emmy award for her special Adele: One Night Only. In a post, the singer shared her excitement about winning an Emmy award for the first time.
“Bloody hell I’m pleased as punch! Thank you Ben for dropping this round to me this afternoon!”
The singer further joked about having an ‘ego’ after earning herself an oscar, a grammy, and now an Emmy award this year.
“Trust me to officially have an EGO. Thank you so much @televisionacad. I’m so so honored to receive this.” the singer captioned her post.
Thus far, Adele would only need to earn herself a Tony Award to officially have the EGOT status. To date, she would be one of the many artists such as Eminem to be one award away from being an EGOT.
