I’ve found that macaroni and cheese is the great dinnertime equaliser. Everyone loves it, no matter what their age. A versatile dish that can be customised to any taste. You can add anything you have in the house and it will still be a winner.
A Much-Loved Dish
Macaroni and cheese is loved by pretty much everyone (although lactose intolerants might disagree). It is foolproof, simple, and absolutely delicious. What’s more, this recipe takes only 30 minutes to cook in the oven once it is put together! Quick and easy! This recipe uses grated cheddar cheese, but feel free to include a mix of your favorite cheeses to create a slightly more sophisticated macaroni and cheese dish.
Perfect as a Meal or as a Side
This Macaroni and cheese is just so easy-going on the palate, you could enjoy a full plate of it at dinner (and seconds) or enjoy it as a side dish to accompany other delicious mains such as beef fillet or chicken kebabs – the choice is yours. While a great mac and cheese is as simple as it is tasty, if you are enjoying this dish as a whole meal on its own, get creative and add some more ingredients into the mix, such as broccoli, peas, beef mince, carrots, or mushrooms!
Make this indulgently creamy macaroni and cheese when the comfort meal craving pops up – you will not be disappointed!
