Deliciousness awaits! These decadent sugary balls of creamy caramel and crumbled cake will simply melt away in your mouth as you bite into them. So just a heads up, you will need to make a big batch if you intend on sharing any of them!
Creamy Caramel mixes with Fluffy Cake
It all starts with a beautiful, soft and spongy vanilla cake. Baking this will already send warm sweet scents wafting through the house. While you wait for the cake to bake, we mix our caramel, cream and butter into a smooth paste. From here you will need to resist “tasting” mouthfuls of cake as you crumble it in with your caramel mix. Mix it all together, and roll out your little balls of joy. These are then coated in coconut flakes before serving.
Fast and Effortless
To top it all off, this recipe is super quick and easy to make. In just over an hour you will have baked a cake, tasted a little bit to check that it is just right (of course), mixed and rolled your ball batter and added your coconut coating. Ready to be served and devoured. They are best enjoyed fresh however, you could store them in an airtight container for a bit if needed.
If you are a little bit of a caramel junky, like I am, then you absolutely have to try our Mini Caramel and Peppermint Crips Tarts!
